Traditional Indian Embroidery Patches- Repurposed Resued Recycled

Traditional Indian Embroidery Patches- Repurposed Reused Recycled

Jaipur............I sure love the pink city and have explored a lot of it during my stay which almost lasted for two years. Well.... guess what?? i completed my fashion studies here . So whats new in store for my readers all the way from Jaipur, a land of traditional Indian textiles and crafts. If you observe handmade textiles and recycled clothes has always been a part of Indian textile, clothing and lifestyle.

We do have a huge variety of textiles in India followed by a unique process , design and pattern. But what is so significant is the way clothes or fabrics have been traditionally produced, using the local craft or material and then a final garment designed that fits just right and is been handed down to next generation. This way the overall life cycle of the product increases by reusing and recycling it.

Talking about Reusing and Redesigning .....look what i found in Amer, Jaipur. At Marvi Impex - Handicraft they redesign and reuse old vintage embroidery patches and customize awesome products like  bags, belts, garments etc...Moral: Retaining the local cultural identity. They even manufacture, supply and export embroidered textiles, zari work and patches.  Have a look for yourself
